Coming into the first round of the NBA playoffs, the Boston Celtics had locked up the top seed in the Eastern Conference after winning 64 games and were seemingly given a fortunate opportunity to face the Miami Heat without Jimmy Butler right out of the gate.
Although the Heat are always a dangerous team in the postseason regardless of who is playing, Miami wasn’t expected to potentially pull off an upset against Boston, as it seemed the Celtics were too much to handle, especially after a Game 1 blowout.
Unfortunately for Boston, the top seed was given a reality check in Game 2, with Tyler Herro and company getting the best of the Celtics on their home floor to even the series at one game apiece, with the series shifting to Miami for Game 3 and Game 4.
With the Heat doing their job and getting one win on the road, the series has changed as the Celtics will face an uphill battle in Miami for the next two games and could be in trouble if they lose one of those two contests in South Beach, as Colin Cowherd of FOX Sports believes that no one fears this top-seeded team via The Herd with Colin Cowherd.
“Nobody fears the Celtics,” Cowherd said. “Certainly not Miami.”

One thing a team never wants to do against the Heat in the playoffs is give them hope, and that’s exactly what the Celtics did in Game 2, as they were outplayed without Butler even touching the floor.
It’ll be interesting to see how things pan out from here and if Miami can make another run as the underdog like they did last season.
