WWE has announced a Royal Rumble contract signing set for the January 19 episode of SmackDown with Roman Reigns, Randy Orton, LA Knight, and AJ Styles.
Reigns is scheduled to defend the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship in a Fatal 4-Way Match at the Royal Rumble on Saturday, January 27. The match was announced by SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis on last week’s SmackDown after Reigns, Solo Sikoa and Jimmy Uso interfered in the triple threat number one contender’s match which was between Orton, Night and Styles.
Paul Heyman, Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa, and Paul Heyman attempted to hijack this week’s episode. In response, Nick Aldis booked a match with Uso and Sikoa in a tag match against Orton, Knight and Styles. However, Jimmy and Solo could not find a tag team partner for the match.
Also scheduled for next’s week SmackDown is WWE United States Champion Logan Paul appearing on The KO Show and WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Kayden Carter and Katana Chance defend the title against Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn
Cody Rhodes to kickoff Monday’s WWE Raw
During a commercial that aired on Friday night’s WWE SmackDown, it was announced Cody Rhodes will kick off this Monday’s Raw. Rhodes will more than likely now focus towards the Royal Rumble after he defeated Shinsuke Nakamura in a street fight on last Monday’s Raw, thus ending his feud with Nakamura.

-WWE Intercontinental Champion Gunther returns
-Finn Balor and Damian Priest vs. The Miz and R-Truth
-DIY (Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa) vs. Dominik Mysterio and JD McDonagh
