The Minnesota Vikings are one team that has not made much noise this offseason.
Mostly because they have not made any major moves to improve their roster.
They released running back Dalvin Cook, which was a bold move.
But they decided to try and get younger and cheaper at running back.
One player who they cannot get cheap on is wide receiver Justin Jefferson.
He is entering the fourth year of his five-year rookie contract and is eligible for an extension.
According to Alec Lewis, Vikings GM Kwesi Adofo-Mensah said talks are ongoing between Jefferson and the team on an extension.

Ever since he stepped on an NFL field, Jefferson has been one of the best players in the league.
He is going to be the highest-paid wide receiver in the NFL and deservingly so.
Jefferson has played three NFL seasons and has at least 1,400 yards in each.
Last season was by far his best when he caught 128 passes for 1,809 yards and eight touchdowns.
He won the Offensive Player of the Year award and finished fifth in league MVP voting.
It will be interesting to see what Jefferson can do for an encore.
He cannot play any better yet will probably find a way to improve his game in the 2023 season.
The Vikings offense goes through Jefferson.
He is the focal point and someone that opposing defenses must double-team to slow down.
For being only 24 years old, Jefferson is on an all-time pace to start his career.
