Deion Sanders is imparting the wisdom he learned from the NFL to a new generation of football players.
Sanders’ impact on college football has former NFL quarterback Robert Griffin III proclaiming another lofty achievement for the two-time Super Bowl champion.
As shared by JPA Football via Awful Announcing, Griffin said, “Nowadays, the generation even forgets that he (Deion Sanders) is a Hall of Fame cornerback. Arguably the greatest of all time. I think he is the greatest… But he’s on his way to becoming a Hall of Fame coach if he can continue on this trajectory.”

Sanders’ potential path toward becoming a Hall of Fame tactician started when he took over Jackson State’s football program.
The former NFL cornerback and return specialist led the Tigers to a 27-6 record in three seasons, which includes a 16-0 record against Southwestern Athletic Conference opponents in 2021 and 2022.
But the 14-year NFL veteran has become the darling of the college football world after leading the University of Colorado Boulder Buffaloes to a 3-0 record to start their 2023 season.
Those wins have already tripled the team’s win total from last year.
They were also impressive victories, starting from their come-from-behind win over TCU.
The Buffaloes were down by 11 points in the fourth quarter before scoring an overtime win against the Colorado State Rams.
Sanders and the Buffaloes could turn more heads if they defeat nationally-ranked teams Oregon and USC.
If they do, Griffin’s prediction will look more realistic.
