The Dallas Cowboys’ journey to get back to the Super Bowl begins on Wild Card weekend against the Green Bay Packers.
The Cowboys secured the No. 2 seed in the NFC and will host at least one more home game if they’re able to dispatch a feisty Packers team that ended the 2023 NFL season playing great two-way football.
Dallas has the advantage of playing on their home field where they have won double-digit games in a row dating back to last season.
That bodes well for the team’s chances of advancing to the next round, especially because Dak Prescott has been one of the best quarterbacks in the league when he’s at home.
Prescott had a solid MVP case before slowing down at the end of the regular season, but there’s optimism that he’ll be able to perform once the two teams hit the field.
Ahead of the game, Cowboys legend Michael Irvin had a simple message for Irvin via NFL GameDay.
“At HOME just be YOU,” Irvin said.

Irvin rattles off some of Prescott’s stats when he plays in Dallas and the numbers are impressive.
Prescott led the league with 22 passing touchdowns at home, as well as owned a league-high 120.0 passer rating.
The quarterback was also only picked off three times, showing much more care with the football versus the road.
Green Bay’s defense hasn’t been very consistent, and with Prescott and CeeDee Lamb torching opposing teams, all signs are pointing to Dallas coming out as the victors and getting one step closer to Super Bowl LVIII.
