Through two games of the 2023 NFL season, the Dallas Cowboys look like they might have the best defense in the league.
After shutting out the New York Giants in Week 1, the Cowboys were able to hold the New York Jets to just 10 points in Week 2.
It was the first full game the Jets had to play without Aaron Rodgers and Zach Wilson predictably struggled against Dallas’ ferocious defense.
Wilson only managed to throw for 170 yards for one touchdown against three interceptions.
The third-year quarterback was under duress almost the entire afternoon, and a lot of that had to do with Micah Parsons who racked up two sacks and three tackles for loss.
Parsons is making a case for Defensive Player of the Year and his attitude carries off the field as well as he sent a message to Tyreek Hill about calling himself a lion via Bleacher Report.
“Please don’t ever say you’re a lion again,” Parsons said.

Parsons comments come after Hill referred to himself as a lion, though the former does mention he appreciated the receiver calling himself a baby lion.
The Cowboys star goes on to say that Hill should stick with cheetah and that’s probably the right move considering just how fast the wideout is.
Parsons’ message to Hill can be taken lightly as the two are friends off the field, though they do get a marquee matchup on Christmas Eve when Dallas hits the road to take on the Miami Dolphins.
Parsons will get a chance to play Hill then and it’ll be interesting to see which of them comes out on top.
