The New York Giants managed to overcome a 20-0 halftime deficit to beat the Arizona Cardinals and pick up their first win of the 2023 NFL season.
The Giants were well on their way to another dispiriting loss, but the team managed to come together in the second half and win 31-28 off a Graham Gano field goal.
Daniel Jones rebounded when the team needed him most as he threw for 321 yards and two touchdowns as well as ran for 49 yards and another score.
Aside from Jones, Saquon Barkley pitched in with 63 rushing yards and a touchdown while adding six receptions for 29 yards and another touchdown.
Although New York is happy with the win, it came at a steep cost as Barkley suffered an ankle sprain and was seen unable to put much weight on it.
A day after Barkley suffered the injury, Micah Parsons sent him some well-wishes via Bleacher Report.

In the clip, Parsons talks about Barkley’s value to New York’s team and that he should be making what he deserves because of all the things he can do offensively.
Near the end, Parsons wishes Barkley well in recovery which is good to see between two players who play in the same division.
The rest of the league is surely hoping that the star running back is able to return sooner rather than later because he’s one of the most electric players in the NFL.
For now, the Giants will have to make do without Barkley starting on Thursday Night Football against the San Francisco 49ers.
