You may or may not be a fan of Bill Belichick and the New England Patriots, but no one can deny that the legendary coach has starred in some epic and hilarious moments.
From wearing ripped clothes for a press conference to his classic answers to media questions, Belichick is a character, plain and simple.
That was on full display again during the Patriots’ 24-17 loss to the Miami Dolphins on Sunday Night Football when he spiked a challenge flag onto the field right in front of an official.
The gestures and the way it all went down were so hilarious that even LeBron James took to Instagram to crack a laugh at his expense (via Kit Guinhawa).

It was late in the third quarter and the Pats trailed by two scores.
They were marching deep into rival territory, and Rhamondre Stevenson rushed up the middle on third-and-two.
Stevenson was stopped just inches short of the first down, and after further review and measure, the referees ruled it that way.
Coach Belichick was livid and emphatically spiked the red flag right in front of the referee, but to no avail.
The challenge was unsuccessful, and the Pats had to lean on Mac Jones to get the first round on fourth-and-inches, just to be picked off by Xavien Howard on the very next play.
Regardless of the drive or the game’s outcome, this was a Hall-of-Fame flag throw by the legendary coach, and a reminder of why he’ll continue to be must-watch television for as long as he decides to continue coaching.
