One of the more popular things to do for professional athletes during their downtime, which can be considerable in the offseason and even during the season while on the road, is to play Madden or NBA 2K.
Sometimes, these athletes like to go head-to-head on their favorite video game platforms, which appears to be the case with former Dallas Cowboys star wide receiver Dez Bryant and current star cornerback Trevon Diggs.
According to Bryant, Diggs didn’t stand a chance against him while he was playing as the Kansas City Chiefs and Diggs was sporting the New York Jets, presumably with Aaron Rodgers still healthy in the game.
Bryant bragging about taking down Diggs, who recently went down with a season-ending knee injury and was sorely missed by the Cowboys this past weekend, drew the attention of Los Angeles Lakers superstar forward LeBron James.
James openly challenged Bryant to a head-to-head matchup on Twitter and seems to be perfectly fine with the former NFL star using the defending Super Bowl champion Chiefs.
Chiefs huh??? Nice!!! Soon you and I

This matchup between James and Bryant better take place sooner rather than later, and hopefully, they stream it live because the four-time NBA champion will soon have to prepare for the upcoming 82-game grind of the NBA regular season.
Training camp for the Lakers will get underway next week, with the team having its Media Day on Monday, Octocber 2, at the team’s practice facility in El Segundo.
The first preseason game for the Lakers will be against the division-rival Sacramento Kings on October 11.
