The Dallas Cowboys got off to a strong start to the season, up to the point where some even claimed they had the best team in the entire league.
Of course, those people were in for a big reality check when they lost to the 0-2 Arizona Cardinals on Sunday, perhaps the worst team in the league.
That’s why former NFL star Keyshawn Johnson believes Dan Quinn needs to make some major adjustments to the run defense if he doesn’t want to go 0-3 in his next three games.
In his latest appearance on “Undisputed,” Johnson explained how much Bill Belichick and the New England Patriots could benefit from the Cowboys’ subpar run defense, especially considering the fact that Ezekiel Elliott is coming off an 80-yard game on 15 carries and will be extra motivated to face his former team.

On top of that, they have a date with the San Francisco 49ers in the following game, and they boast one of the best, most dynamic, and most explosive running games in the league, with Christian McCaffrey and Deebo Samuel ready to wreak havoc out of the backfield.
Then, he predicted they could have an easier time beating the Los Angeles Chargers because of their lack of an established running game, but he does think they could go 1-2 in the next three weeks.
The Cowboys need to make some major tweaks if they want to bounce back against the Patriots, a team that has played a lot better than they’re 1-2 record might tell the naked eye.
