The Philadelphia Eagles enter the playoffs this year with a few major injuries that could affect their ability to advance in the postseason.
Not only did quarterback Jalen Hurts injure his finger in the Week 18 loss to the New York Giants, but star wide receiver A.J. Brown left that game with a knee injury and didn’t return.
Hurts appears optimistic he’ll be fine but Brown’s status is a bit more up in the air after he missed Friday’s practice, as reported by 94WIP’s Eliot Shorr-Parks.

Fortunately for Philadelphia, this game isn’t until Monday night, which gives Brown an extra day to rest and test his body ahead of the matchup.
But not practicing this late in the week is never a good sign.
The other good news for the Eagles, though, is that wide receiver DeVonta Smith practiced fully after he missed Week 18 with an ankle injury.
So, if Brown can’t go, the Eagles will at least have one solid wide receiver healthy enough to play.
Losing Brown would be huge a blow to a Philadelphia team that’s lost five of its past six games.
They’ll travel to play the Tampa Bay Buccaneers next – a team they beat easily in Week 3 but at full strength.
This game is crucial for an Eagles team that played for a Super Bowl just one year ago, as an early exit for Philadelphia could spur changes up and down the franchise after it started out 10-1 this year.
Brown’s situation doesn’t look good, but the Eagles will go on without him.
