The New York Jets suffered one of the biggest losses of the NFL season in Week 1.
Even though the Jets defeated the Buffalo Bills, they lost quarterback Aaron Rodgers for the season.
Losing Rodgers made that game and the rest of this season feel like a loss.
Zach Wilson will now step in and become the Jets starting quarterback.
Wilson has started many games throughout his NFL career and has struggled in most of them.
His first start of this season will be against one of the best defenses in football, the Dallas Cowboys.
Joy Taylor does not have high hopes for Wilson in this game.
She said on “Speak” that “hands will be laid on Zach Wilson this weekend.”

The Cowboys got after Daniel Jones and the New York Giants in Week 1.
They won the game 40-0 and sacked Jones seven times in the game.
Dallas is hosting the Jets in their home opener and you can bet they will be looking for another monster performance.
Wilson has started 22 games in his career.
In those games, he has thrown 15 touchdowns and 18 interceptions.
There was a reason the Jets were aggressive in trading for Rodgers this offseason.
They have seen enough of Wilson as an NFL starter.
It will be interesting to see how Wilson performs in his first start of the year.
But on the road, facing a great defense, it is fair to assume that Wilson will struggle like we have seen often in his NFL career.
