Aaron Rodgers is one of the most experienced and knowledgeable players in the NFL right now.
He’s been there and done that multiple times already, which is why the younger players would be wise to reach out to him for a piece of advice.
That’s exactly what Cincinnati Bengals star Joe Burrow did.
According to a report by ProFootballTalk, Rodgers gave him some pointers about playing through a calf injury, which is kind of unsurprising, considering he’s dealt with some of his own throughout the course of his career.
“He’s dealt with calf issues his whole career and I wanted to use him as a resource and get his thoughts, what he might have done,” Burrow said, via Ben Baby of ESPN.

Notably, Rodgers suffered a calf injury in the offseason and was later ruled out for the remainder of the year with an Achilles injury.
That’s one of the many reasons why everybody was so concerned and worried about Burrow’s injury, as he didn’t look healthy at all in his first two games of the season, and they thought he should sit out until he’s back to full strength.
The Bengals, however, can’t afford to have their best player off the field.
Burrow didn’t get into any specifics about the advice he got from the Green Bay Packers legend, but it might have been just what he needed.
While he wasn’t at his best, he still was able to lead the Bengals to their first win of the season.
Up next, he has a date with the Tennessee Titans, a team that has also struggled to be at their best to start the season.
