There was a time, not so long ago, when Jimmy Graham was right there in the mix for the best tight end in the NFL.
His connection and chemistry with Drew Brees were simply remarkable, and he even fought to be paid as a wide receiver for the level of production he put on the field.
Then, he left the New Orleans Saints and fell from grace, being used more as a blocker than as a pass-catcher and only getting double digits in touchdown receptions once again in his career.
Graham bounced around the league and played for the Seattle Seahawks, Green Bay Packers, and Chicago Bears, and he never managed to reach that top-tier status again.
Now, the 36-year-old has finally gone full circle and back to where it all started, and he showed his excitement about being back in the Big Easy with a hype video on social media, greeting the fans and stating that he can’t wait to see them all again.
“Can’t wait to see y’all at Training Camp & in the Dome. Love you guys!”

Graham was one of the best players on the team during his heyday.
In just his second season, he hauled in a career-best 99 receptions for 1,310 yards and 11 scores, adding 12 more receptions for 158 yards and three touchdowns in the playoffs.
He also had a season of 86 receptions for 1,215 yards and a career-best (and league-best) 16 touchdown receptions.
Naturally, expecting that level of production in his 13th season is far from realistic, but it’s nice to see him go back to the place where he was at his best.
