The Cincinnati Bengals have been struggling during the 2023 NFL season, with the team coming into Monday night’s game against the Los Angeles Rams having lost consecutive games to division rivals in the Cleveland Browns and Baltimore Ravens.
The Bengals desperately needed to turn things around in Week 3, and the team was able to do just that, with star wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase having his best performance of the season thus far.
Chase finished the game with a game-high 12 catches for 141 yards to help lead the Bengals to their first win of the season at the expense of the Rams.
After the game on Monday night, Chase spoke with ESPN’s Scott Van Pelt on SportsCenter and was asked about facing Ryan Clark’s son, Jordan Clark, in high school.
Although Chase didn’t want to embarrass Jordan on SportsCenter, his father let what happened in high school be known, as the now-Bengals star was virtually unguardable.

Supposedly, after the high school game was postponed due to flooding on the field, Chase went off for 300 yards in what was likely Clark’s most embarrassing performance on the high school level.
It’s safe to assume that Jordan called his dad after this show to rip him for putting that out there, even though Chase had the class not to talk about it.
Regardless of what happened in the past, Chase and the Bengals appear to be back on track this season, with the team getting the win over the Rams and heading in the right direction ahead of their Week 4 matchup with the Tennessee Titans on the road.
