Even though the Philadelphia Eagles finished the season in a terrible slump, they’re still a dangerous team with plenty of talent and experience on both sides of the field.
That’s why the Tampa Bay Buccaneers need to be at their best if they want to keep their season alive and make a statement at home on Monday.
Unfortunately for them, they won’t have their QB1 at full strength for this contest, and they might not even have him at all.
According to NFL insider Tom Pelissero, Baker Mayfield is listed as questionable ahead of the contest, as he continues to deal with injuries with his ankles and ribs.

The former No. 1 pick has been pretty banged up to close out the season, and it showed in the regular-season finale vs. the Carolina Panthers.
But even though he’s been known for playing through injury multiple times in his career, he might not be able to pull it off this time.
Mayfield played very well this season, posting similar numbers Tom Brady had in his final campaign with the Buccaneers and developing strong chemistry with star WR Mike Evans.
Should he be forced to miss this game, it’ll be up to backup Kyle Trask to lead the way for Dave Canales’ offense, which is obviously far from ideal at this point in the season.
Mayfield took his career back up from the ground this season and could be looking at a long-term deal in Tampa Bay in the offseason.
