After getting shut out by the Dallas Cowboys in Week 1, the New York Giants were well on their way to another terrible loss in Week 2 when they fell behind early to the Arizona Cardinals.
The Cardinals were projected to be the worst team in the league this season, but they played with much more energy than the Giants did.
Arizona managed to build a 20-0 lead at halftime and New York looked like they were going to mail it in.
However, the Giants managed to turn things around behind an excellent performance from Saquon Barkley to come back and win, 31-28.
Saquon Barkley carried the football 17 times for 63 yards and a touchdown while adding six receptions for 29 yards and another score.
However, Barkley suffered what looked like an ankle sprain and will be considered week-to-week via Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.

All in all, this is almost the best-case scenario for New York and Barkley as the initial replay looked much worse than what it ended up being.
The Giants are scheduled to play against the San Francisco 49ers on Thursday Night Football this week and Barkley will be ruled out for the contest.
He is also expected to miss Week 4 at home against the Seattle Seahawks, though he could conceivably return in Week 5 against the Miami Dolphins.
Barkley has a history of injuries which is concerning for New York, but at least they’ll have their star running back available at some point in the next few weeks.
