The Kansas City Chiefs suffered a disappointing Week 1 loss to the Detroit Lions.
On the night the Chiefs unveiled their Super Bowl banner, all of their fans went home disappointed.
One of the big reasons why the Chiefs lost this game was because they were without two key players.
Kansas City did not have tight end Travis Kelce or defensive tackle Chris Jones in uniform.
Kelce was out with a knee injury while Jones was holding out for a new contract.
But both will be back in the lineup for Week 2.
According to Dianna Russini, the Chiefs have officially activated Chris Jones to the 53-man roster.

Jones agreed to a one-year contract extension worth up to $25 million.
His new deal is loaded with incentives.
He can make more money if he can reach 10 or 15 sacks on the season.
There are also incentives for being named first-team All-Pro and helping the Chiefs win the Super Bowl.
Jones will be plenty motivated once he steps on the field in Week 2.
The Chiefs’ defense should be substantially better now that Jones is on the field.
But they will have a tough test on their hands going to Jacksonville to face the up-and-coming Jaguars.
Starting the season 0-2 is not a recipe for repeating as champions.
It will be interesting to see what the Chiefs look like on Sunday.
But they should be much better than the team we saw in Week 1.
