The Buffalo Bills disappointingly started the 2023 NFL Season, losing a close game to the New York Jets.
While many believed this was a sign that the Bills would have a rough year, Josh Allen had other plans.
In the Bills’ Week 2 game against the Las Vegas Raiders, Allen stepped up to the plate, bouncing back with an electric performance.
As the NFL’s official Twitter account highlighted, Allen finished the week with an 83.8% completion rate, three touchdowns, and a 124.5 passer rating.

This was a far cry from his performance in Week 1, an indication that the Bills are still among the AFC’s elites.
Fans were more than thrilled with Allen’s performance, giving him widespread praise.

Fans across the league marveled at Allen’s performance.
They believe he is here to stay, and that his game against the Jets was a fluke on offense.
Of course, as some fans pointed out, Allen had this performance against the Raiders, who are seen as one of the league’s worst teams.
While Allen did have a big day, some wonder if it is just a product of the team the Bills faced.
Regardless of any potential caveats, Allen did need to make plays, and he still had to perform, no matter who the opponent was.
He and the Bills walked away from this game with their heads held high.
Their next opponent is the Washington Commanders, the next test for Allen.
Can the Bills continue this dominance, proving to the AFC they are a force to be reckoned with?
