The Miami Dolphins improved to 7-3 with a win on Sunday over the Las Vegas Raiders.
One of the highly anticipated returns for the game was that of running back De’Von Achane.
The rookie was one of the most explosive players in the NFL before suffering a knee injury in Week 5.
Every Dolphins fan was hoping Achane would take the field Sunday and have some big plays.
Unfortunately, the rookie running back was only able to get one carry before re-injuring himself.
Achane hurt the same knee that he just recovered from after a defender fell on it.
According to Adam Schefter, Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel implied the injury was not serious.
But he was noncommittal about Achane playing on Friday.

Miami plays on Friday this upcoming week so the short week could hurt Achane’s chances of playing.
There is no question the Dolphins are a better offense when Achane is on the field.
He and Raheem Mostert have developed into an elite one-two punch.
Luckily, it seems like Achane should be back on the field within the next week or two.
Miami is hoping to win the AFC East for the first time since 2008.
That division has been dominated by the Buffalo Bills in recent years.
But, the Dolphins currently have a 1.5-game lead over the Bills for first place.
Miami is built by their speed on offense.
Having all of their skill players healthy will be key to the Dolphins’ continued success.
