The start of the 2023 season felt all too familiar for the Denver Broncos.
They began the year with a 1-5 record, with their sole win coming over the Chicago Bears.
Russell Wilson started slowly in these games, and it looked as though even Sean Payton couldn’t help this team.
However, after that slow start, the Broncos have started to turn things around.
As Ari Meirov points out in a recent tweet, the Broncos are on a four-game winning streak.
This is the first time they have won four games in a row since 2016, a sign that the tides may be turning for this team.
The #Broncos have won four in a row for the first time since 2016.
The 5-5 record has them very much alive in the AFC.

During this winning streak, the Broncos have taken down the likes of the Kansas City Chiefs, Buffalo Bills, and most recently, the surging Minnesota Vikings.
Their defense has woken up, and Wilson has played well enough to keep them in games.
If this streak continues, the Broncos will complete a miraculous turnaround, hopefully vaulting them into the playoffs.
As Meirov mentioned, the Broncos’ upcoming schedule should be a tough test for this team. ‘
Their next two opponents are the Cleveland Browns and Houston Texans.
The Browns are coming off an emotional win over the Pittsburgh Steelers, and the Texans are surging under C.J. Stroud’s young leadership.
Both of these teams are fighting for their lives for a potential playoff spot, and will not be willing to roll over easily.
Broncos fans will have an opportunity to see what this team is made of over the next two weeks.
