The San Francisco 49ers pulled out a gritty win against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 11.
There were a few times when the Buccaneers looked like they were going to stage a comeback, but the 49ers were able to stay strong.
One part of the 49ers’ success in this game was Brock Purdy’s play, who finished the game with a perfect passer rating.
This was the first perfect passer rating in franchise history, as reporter Kate Rooney pointed out.
While this was an opportunity for Purdy to boast about his accomplishments, he took time in his press conference to talk about his mistakes.
According to Rooney, Purdy discussed his missed throws, saying: “I’m not content with that.”

Purdy certainly played well enough for the 49ers to win this game, and his perfect passer rating indicates that.
However, as he mentions, there is always room for improvement.
The 49ers have one of the best records in the NFC, putting themselves in a great position moving forward.
Purdy understands that, while he had a good day against the Buccaneers, he will need to keep playing well, especially against the 49ers’ best competitors.
The 49ers have several difficult tests coming up, including games against the Philadelphia Eagles, Seattle Seahawks, and Baltimore Ravens.
Purdy will be tested against some of the league’s best defenses, and will also be subject to likely playoff previews.
This should be a good experience for the second-year quarterback who looks to take the 49ers on another impressive playoff run this season.
