The Chicago Bears are still searching for the light at the end of the tunnel.
They are on a 13-game losing streak dating back to last season.
Worst yet, they’ve lost their first three games of the 2023 NFL season by double-digit margins.
But while it’s challenging to be optimistic about their situation, Bears offensive coordinator Luke Getsy knows they can still turn things around.
“I think we’re in the process of building something special, and I think that we’re in the phase of its Week 4, and we’re going on to find a way to attack Denver [Sunday at Soldier Field] in a completely different way than we did Kansas City,” Getsy said to Chicago Sun-Times reporter Mark Potash via BroBible NFL writer Dov Kleiman.
Update: OC Luke Getsy says the 0-3 #Bears are: “In the process of building something special.”
He also says they’ll “Attack Denver in a completely different way.”

Getsy is leading an offense that ranks 29th in total yards per game (250), 31st in passing yards per game (148.3), and 27th in points per game (15.7).
Despite their struggles, they have some talented players on that side, starting with the versatile quarterback Justin Fields.
They also traded for DJ Moore and have Khalil Herbert as the starting running back.
While Getsy is optimistic about creating something special in Chicago, it’s hard to believe at this point that things will turn around.
The franchise has struggled on the field and dealt with controversy off of it, especially after defensive coordinator Alan Williams resigned.
