The NFL playoffs are kicking off this weekend, with many marquee matchups taking place.
While every game seems to have several storylines, one game is getting the bulk of media coverage.
As journalist Joe Schad pointed out, the matchup between the Kansas City Chiefs and Miami Dolphins will be one of the coldest in NFL history.
A potential wind chill around -30 degrees? Brutal. That’s what the Dolphins are in for in Kansas City. It will be the coldest game in franchise history. https://t.co/Jss97j5Flz

Schad declared that this would be the lowest temperature in franchise history for the Dolphins, a team used to playing in the Florida heat.
While this might point to a marked advantage for the Chiefs, Schad’s report from The Palm Beach Post makes it seem like Dolphins players are ready for anything.
He spoke with former Chiefs player Justin Houston, who tried to advise his Dolphins teammates.
Houston said to “stay by the heaters during TV timeouts” to stay warm.
Tyreek Hill, along with several other players, have also dedicated themselves to not wearing sleeves during this game.
They see sleeves as a sign of weakness, potentially giving the Chiefs another leg up on them in the mental game.
While this game might be one of the coldest in league history, it isn’t stopping these competitors from doing what they love best.
Can the Dolphins find a way to dig deep and beat the Chiefs despite the cold temperatures?
Thankfully for the Dolphins, it can prove difficult to beat a team twice in the same season, and the Chiefs beat them in Germany earlier in the year.
If the Dolphins have learned from their mistakes from that game, Saturday’s game could work out in their favor.
