Shai Gilgeous-Alexander of the Oklahoma City Thunder definitely just had the best season of his NBA career.
But some people think he is only getting started and will be even better in 2023-24.
If that’s the case, fans of the Thunder are in for something special.
Gilgeous-Alexander is hard at work preparing for the long season ahead.
A video shared by the Thunder showed the star in the practice gym, taking shots and making moves.
Unsurprisingly, he looks ready to go.

Last season, Gilgeous-Alexander posted 31.4 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 5.5 assists.
He was shooting a strong 51% from the field and led his team in points per game.
Gilgeous-Alexander was electric all season long and earned his first All-Star appearance.
There were plenty of people who said he should have won his first MVP or Most Improved Player trophy.
That didn’t happen, of course, but it doesn’t mean it won’t occur in the future.
Not only might Gilgeous-Alexander be better in the new season, but the entire team may improve too.
The Thunder have a plethora of young stars ready to perform well.
Josh Giddey, Jalen Williams, Lu Dort, and Isaiah Joe are just a few of the athletes who could lift the Thunder higher.
Of course, another player will be emerging when the new season kicks off: Chet Holmgren.
Holmgren was supposed to be a major part of the team last year, but an injury prevented him from playing in his rookie year.
Now, Holmgren is healthy and ready to play.
That means Gilgeous-Alexander’s squad is going to be even stronger.
