The Orlando Magic were one of the worst teams in the Eastern Conference last season.
So why are many people excited about them?
It’s because the future of the team might be very bright due to the promise and talent of multiple young stars.
One of those stars, Cole Anthony, was recently in the gym trying out some new moves with trainer Chris Brickley.
A video shared by the NBA shows Anthony moving with speed and great control of his feet before sinking a few impressive shots.

Anthony is one of the few players at the core of what the Magic are building.
Anchored by Paolo Banchero, the team is focusing on youth, speed, and two-way talent.
This will be Anthony’s fourth year in the league.
In his first season, he posted 12.9 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 4.1 assists per game.
In his second year, those numbers bumped up to 16.3 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 5.7 assists.
He took a bit of a step down in 2022-23, averaging 13 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 3.9 assists.
The Magic are filled with other youthful stars like Anthony.
Banchero is at the center of it all, of course, alongside Franz Wagner, Jalen Suggs, Wendell Carter Jr., and others.
Still, even with all that promise, the team ended 2022-23 as the 13th team in their conference.
But that isn’t stopping fans from thinking the next few years will be good ones for Orlando.
It is great to see Anthony in the gym perfecting his game ahead of the new season.
He’s definitely not alone and the entire Magic roster is preparing for a special year.
