Will the trade of Damian Lillard to the Milwaukee Bucks create a domino effect that shakes up the rest of the NBA?
That is what Stephen A. Smith believes.
Speaking about that Lillard trade, Smith said it could create ripples that impact other teams in the Eastern Conference.
According to Legion Hoops, Smith said, “Philly is in a world of trouble…keep your eyes open for Joel Embiid. He might demand to be traded after this.”

Smith isn’t the only person who thinks that Philadelphia might react strongly to this deal.
The team’s front office is desperately trying to appease Embiid and keep him on board.
Like Giannis Antetokoumpo, he has made some comments about possibly leaving in the future if they aren’t able to win a championship.
The addition of Lillard to Milwaukee minimizes Philadelphia’s chances of doing that.
If the Bucks end up winning in the East next season, Embiid could have his eyes set firmly on an exit.
But the 76ers may do something to try and prevent that.
Perhaps they will now work to trade away James Harden for a player – or players – who can make them championship contenders.
The Bucks knew that they had to act big to satisfy Antetokounmpo.
The 76ers are in the exact same boat.
But with Lillard now playing for one of their biggest Eastern rivals, the Sixers’ options are limited.
All eyes will be on the team – and Embiid – in the weeks and months ahead.
This season just became even more crucial for the 76ers and the future of the reigning MVP.
