The Houston Rockets were busy during this offseason as they made multiple acquisitions for the roster.
The two most important free-agent signings by the Rockets were Fred VanVleet and Dillon Brooks.
VanVleet signed a three-year, $130 million deal with the Rockets, making him the highest-paid player on the team for the 2023-24 season.
Speaking of VanVleet, the official Twitter handle of the Rockets recently shared a video of his workout in the team facility.

VanVleet looked sharp in the workout as he prepares to potentially lead the Rockets back to the playoffs.
The Rockets have missed the postseason for three consecutive seasons following the departures of James Harden and John Wall.
As for VanVleet, he brings a certain championship pedigree to the team.
He was part of the Toronto Raptors’ 2019 NBA championship-winning roster.
In the 2022-23 NBA season, VanVleet averaged 19.3 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 7.2 assists per game.
While VanVleet missed the NBA All-Star team last season, he did make it in the 2021-22 NBA season.
Keeping that in mind, the Rockets are getting an essentially NBA All-Star caliber player on the team.
Considering the former Raptors star is still 29 years old, he can become a key veteran for the young core of the Rockets.
All things considered, the Rockets will expect great things from VanVleet as he’s set to make more than $40 million during the 2023-24 season.
As we mentioned earlier, it makes him the highest-paid player on the team.
