The future of Damian Lillard has been one of the biggest talking points regarding the NBA over the last few months.
Lillard requested a trade from the Portland Trail Blazers after failing to play in the NBA Finals even once during his 11-year stint with the organization.
Lillard made it clear about his wish to join the Miami Heat in hopes of finally becoming an NBA champion.
However, other teams, such as the Toronto Raptors and Philadelphia 76ers, have shown interest in the seven-time All-Star.
Despite the recent chatter, NBA reporter Michael Grange believes there’s a consensus in the league about Lillard ultimately ending up as a member of the Miami Heat, as he revealed via NBACentral on Twitter.

The Miami Heat advanced to the 2023 NBA Finals, albeit losing to the Denver Nuggets in five games.
Considering Lillard has expressed his desire to solely play for the Heat, the franchise has yet to offer a deal that the Blazers have been happy with.
Either way, the Heat are apparently not worried about any other organization swooping in and offering a better trade package for the 33-year-old.
With training Camp right around the corner, fans are getting anxious about a potential Lillard to Heat trade.
Will the wait finally end in the coming weeks?
