The Miami Heat are one of the top teams in the Eastern Conference right now.
It’s evident from the fact that the Heat have played in two NBA Finals in the last four seasons.
Unfortunately, the Heat were the underdogs both times and ended up losing.
With that being said, the Heat were engaged in several trade talks over the summer.
While the primary target for the Heat is disgruntled Portland Trail Blazers superstar Damian Lillard, as per Hoop Central on Twitter, the organization is also reportedly interested in trading for Buddy Hield.

Buddy Hield has remained one of the top-notch shooters in the NBA over the last few years.
However, he was not available to be traded to another team, but that has recently changed.
Hield failed to negotiate a new contract with the Indiana Pacers and now seeks a move away from the team.
Keeping that in mind, the Heat have emerged as one of the suitors for the veteran shooter.
With a roster featuring Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo as the core stars, Buddy Hield would complement them with his phenomenal shooting ability.
Hield averaged 16.8 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 2.8 assists per game last season.
On top of that, there aren’t many players more durable than Hield, as he played in 80 out of the possible 82 games last season.
The cherry on the top is the fact Hield has never played less than 71 games in his NBA career.
If the Heat can find a way to provide an enticing trade package, it would be a no-brainer decision to trade for him.
