Two stars of the Dallas Mavericks went to a NASCAR race at Texas Motor Speedway over the weekend and fans were elated to see them together.
Photos of Luka Doncic and Grant Williams were captured and shared by the Mavericks on Twitter.
This was the first time that Doncic and Williams were in public together.
Fans of the team now want to see a lot more of this duo.

Williams was considered the team’s biggest pick-up during the offseason.
For the last few seasons, he has been a hard-working bench player for the Boston Celtics.
Now that he’s moved to the Mavericks, he has the opportunity to accomplish and grow a lot and possibly become a consistent starting player.
Last season, Williams posted an average of 8.1 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 1.7 assists.
And his field goal percentage was 45.4%.
He is coming to the Mavericks at a very tricky time for the team.
They already have two of the best guards in the league: Doncic and Kyrie Irving.
Yet, fans of the team were hanging their heads low at the end of last season as they were not able to break through to the playoffs, or even the play-in tournament.
Some people believe that the duo of Doncic and Irving just needed more time to find their rhythm.
Others thought that the team needed extra talent on the roster, such as Williams.
And there are some others who think the Mavericks still haven’t done enough and need even more assistance.
Williams is a committed and dedicated player and the Mavericks will want to see a lot of that in 2022-23.
Hopefully, he and Doncic were able to start building a close relationship this weekend because they will need to work closely over the next few months.
