After an impressive offseason, the Los Angeles Lakers are expected to be a force to be reckoned with in the Western Conference during the upcoming 2023-24 NBA season.
Along with seemingly making all the right moves to keep their roster relatively intact and add pieces to address areas of need, superstar LeBron James has let it be known that he intends to return for a 21st season after hinting at potentially retiring following getting swept by the Denver Nuggets in the Western Conference Finals.
Even though no one really took James’ retirement talk seriously, as everyone knows that he’ll want a retirement tour for the ages when the time comes, the Lakers know what they have when training camp begins in a few weeks.
In an effort to start getting ready for camp, James was seen putting in some work on the basketball floor via NBA skills coach Chris Brickley and Legion Hoops.

Although James has struggled to stay healthy over the last few years with the Lakers, when he is healthy, he can still compete at a high level and remains the undisputed leader of the storied franchise.
If James can stay healthy throughout the majority of the upcoming season, and the same goes for fellow superstar Anthony Davis, the Lakers have a great chance of making another deep run in the NBA playoffs or even going the distance.
The real question now is whether the Lakers did make all the right moves this summer and if the team can work off the momentum and chemistry they built last season when they came four wins shy of making the NBA Finals.
