Stephen A. Smith is one of the most respected journalists in the world right now.
The veteran NBA analyst recently made headlines after explaining why he could never work things out with his former co-host, Max Kellerman, on ESPN’s First Take.
Smith claimed Kellerman’s lack of journalistic background made his points rendered useless for the general public.
Following the public call-out, Hall of Famer Terrell Owens sided with Kellerman and clapped back at Stephen A.
The two have gone back and forth since, but Dallas Mavericks star Kyrie Irving has apparently had enough of the beef.
Irving shared a piece of advice to Smith and Owens via Twitter.
“Can y’all call each other like grown mature men and clear the air without all of the extra social media back and forth?” Irving wrote.
@stephenasmith can y’all Call each other like Grown Mature Men and Clear the air without all of the extra social media back and forth?
Get what you need off your chest and move on. #Therearemoreimportantthingstodo

Kyrie Irving is not shy about sharing his thoughts on Twitter, and fans have seen that over the years.
The 2016 NBA champion suggested that Smith and Owens should simply clear things up over a phone call instead of destroying each other’s image on social media.
To be honest, it’s great advice by the 31-year-old point guard.
At the end of the day, Smith and Owens have a huge following on social media.
As suggested by Irving, a much better way would be to either have a phone call or have a face-to-face conversation.
While that’s an excellent point, knowing Stephen A., anything can happen.
It wouldn’t be a surprise if the veteran analyst dedicates a huge chunk of the next episode of The Stephen A. Smith Show, talking about Owens.
