Kyrie Irving has a lot to prove in 2023-24 with the Dallas Mavericks.
To be fair, he already proved a lot during his first 20 games with the team last season, averaging 27 points, 5 rebounds, and 6 assists.
But the team fell far short of expectations and now fans of the team are desperate to see them get back on track.
Irving feels great things are coming, and tweeted a simple message to the fans: “Da11as.”
That message obviously incorporates his jersey number with the city he now calls home.

Just a bit more than a season ago, the Mavericks made it as far as the Western Conference Finals.
But they didn’t even make the playoffs in 2023-24.
The team obviously has some serious things to work out if they want a chance at reaching a championship in the Luka Doncic era.
Is Irving the piece of the puzzle that will make that happen?
He is clearly one of the best guards in the league but how well does he work alongside Doncic?
Both stars were doing quite well during their time together but the team still suffered, so is this a smart pairing?
Some fans are worried about what’s next with Irving.
He just signed a new deal to stick around in Dallas for a few seasons.
But Irving has shown in the past that when he sours on a team, he will make like miserable for the front office until they trade him away.
It has happened multiple times before.
Will it happen again with the Mavericks?
Mavericks fans still have a lot of questions about Irving.
