The Dallas Mavericks locked in another star for the future, signing Kyrie Irving to a huge deal this offseason.
Notably, that wasn’t the only lucrative contract the Mavericks star inked recently, as he also reached a major agreement with Chinese brand ANTA over a new sneaker deal.
That’s why he visited the Asian nation to promote his new sneakers, and he was greeted by dozens of fans showering him with love and praise, as reported by Nick dePaula (via Coast to Coast Brasil).

Kyrie had a previous deal with Nike, but the American giant cut ties with him after he seemingly promoted an anti-semitic documentary on social media.
Irving and his fans claimed that he didn’t advocate for it; he just shared a link.
However, the documentary was full of misinformation and anti-semitic quotes, so it obviously rubbed plenty of people the wrong way.
The Brooklyn Nets even suspended Kyrie and didn’t allow him to be back on the floor until he apologized to the Jewish community, with him eventually sharing a statement.
At the end of the day, Kyrie is one of the most popular players on Earth, and as such, these sneakers figure to be a best-seller.
