Kyrie Irving has been part of several controversies in recent times.
Last season, Irving posted a link to a movie featuring antisemitic content, and he was called out by the NBA community.
Irving’s actions had big repercussions, both in terms of his reputation and from a financial standpoint.
So much so that Nike decided to cut ties with Irving, which left Kyrie without a shoe deal.
This summer Irving announced his brand new partnership with Chinese brand ANTA, and the Mavericks star is most likely travelling to China in regards to his position in the company.
Irving made the revelation via his official Twitter handle.
to Gotta make sure everything is copacetic.

Irving didn’t write much in the tweet and focused on making sure everything was in order.
Irving’s first signature shoe with ANTA is expected to hit the shelves in Q1 of 2024.
As the release gets nearer, fans will definitely get a decisive release date.
Kyrie was one of the most popular athletes with a signature shoe line with Nike.
He helped the brand increase its popularity in the mid-2010s.
But that’s in the past, as Kyrie is now focused on doing the same for ANTA.
ANTA does have another star onboard in Golden State Warriors’ Klay Thompson, but signing Kyrie Irving will most certainly give a huge boost to the brand’s popularity and revenue.
Will Kyrie’s new shoes with ANTA become bestsellers? Only time will tell.
