The Phoenix Suns just put together one of the most stacked teams in recent NBA history.
The only thing that could stop them is a string of injuries, considering Kevin Durant isn’t exactly getting any younger.
Durant is still one of the prime players of this game, but he’s entering the backend of his career.
With that in mind, he’s reached that stage where he spreads his knowledge and mentors some of the bright stars of the future, which is why he linked up with Jordan Poole and Jalen Green for some offseason workouts, according to Overtime (via Hoop Central) and Andrew Leezus.

Green has been quite underwhelming in the first couple of seasons of his career, showing a nice shot-making ability but struggling with poor efficiency, shot selection, and other aspects of his game.
Even so, there’s no doubt that he has the potential to be one of the most explosive and dominant scorers in the game under the right management.
Likewise, Poole has only had one truly great season in his career, but efficiency and decision-making have been dreadful issues.
He’ll now get to be the primary scorer and ball-handler for a Washington Wizards team that’s unlikely to win many games, but he has a chance to take a major leap forward as an All-Star or even a Scoring Champion.
It’s hard to think of a better player to mentor you when you’re struggling with efficiency, granted that Durant is one of the greatest pure scorers from all three levels.
Maybe, that’s all these young players need to finally take their games to a whole new level.
