A few seasons ago, Collin Sexton was considered one of the most promising and exciting young guards in all of the NBA.
He hit a bit of a rough patch and his time with the Cleveland Cavaliers came to an end.
But Sexton is ready to re-establish himself as someone special with the Utah Jazz.
The Jazz shared a video on social media of Sexton practicing in the gym.
In the video, he looked healthy, strong, and was nailing multiple tough shots.

Sexton was selected as the eighth overall pick in the draft back in 2018.
He immediately became a crucial part of the Cavaliers roster and started in 72 games during his first season.
He also averaged 16.7 points and 3 assists per game.
He got better over the next two seasons and was even hitting highs of 24.3 points and 4.4 assists a night in 2020-21.
But then Sexton experienced an injury and only played in 11 games during the 2021-22 season.
While he was gone, the team moved on without him and there simply wasn’t a place for him when he returned.
Therefore, he was sent away to the Jazz.
During his 48 games with the Jazz, Sexton has averaged 14.3 points, 2.2 rebounds, and 2.9 assists.
He clearly isn’t at the place he once was but Sexton is intent on getting better.
The Jazz have multiple stars who didn’t break out on their previous teams as expected.
Last season proved that even though they’re not there yet, they could soon be a very fun and formidable team in the West.
Sexton wants to be an important factor in the team’s rebuilding.
