Most people agree that Damian Lillard’s move to the Milwaukee Bucks makes them a better team in a number of ways.
This was reflected on betting sites Wednesday when the Bucks’ odds of winning the Finals immediately shot up.
Brian Windhorst appeared on “Get Up” Thursday morning and said that he agrees that the Bucks are better.
“You get Dame Lillard, you’re going to be a top five, maybe top-three offensive team,” Windhorst said.
However, that doesn’t mean the road ahead for the team will be painless.
“It’s a Grade-A blockbuster. … You get Dame Lillard, you’re going to be a top five, maybe top three offensive team.”

Windhorst noted that acquiring Lillard did improve the team’s offense but it also hurt their defense too.
Lillard is not known as a great defender but Jrue Holiday is.
Now that Holiday is gone, the team could be giving up more points.
And although the pairing of Lillard and Giannis Antetokounmpo seems very promising, there is no guarantee that it’s here to stay.
Antetokounmpo said he wanted his front office to show commitment to winning – and they did.
But what happens if he doesn’t sign an extension as soon as possible?
That would mean he’d still have a chance to leave the team next summer.
He has made it abundantly clear that he wants to win another Finals and anything short of that will be seen as a disappointment to him.
So what if Lillard makes them a better team and they still fall short?
Would Antetokounmpo then leave, handing the team over to Lillard?
Lillard might make the Bucks champions again.
But if the team wants to keep Antetokounmpo around, he will have to do that quickly.
