Tensions rose on Sunday afternoon as the Miami Heat and Boston Celtics battled on the court and two players quite literally got tangled up with one another.
During the fourth quarter, Jaylen Brown and Duncan Robinson were very competitive as Brown attempted to receive a pass from Derrick White.
Robinson’s arm was wrapped up with Brown’s as he tried to block the Celtics star.
Brown then appeared to pull on Robinson’s arm and sent him right into the stands.
He was given a flagrant foul for his actions but Robinson remained quite upset and spoke about the moment after the game.
“I thought it was a dirty play. That’s how people miss whole seasons,” Robinson said to Five Reasons Sports.

Following the foul, Robinson and Brown had some words with one another and it’s clear that both players weren’t pleased.
Robinson said the foul was “dangerous, unnecessary, and excessive,” but Brown didn’t think he did anything wrong.
Speaking with ESPN, Brown said that it was Robinson who caused the foul.
“I think he knew exactly what he was trying to do. Trying to get tangled up, etc., because he didn’t want to play defense. They called the foul, but he was still trying to hang on, so I was trying to get my arm free,” Brown said.
There has been a growing rivalry between the Heat and Celtics over the last few years.
Last season, the Heat outdid the Celtics in the Eastern Conference Finals in a series that went all the way to seven games.
However, things have changed in 2023-24 and the Heat are now 0-3 against the Celtics this season.
They aren’t scheduled to meet again in the regular season, but there is a chance they will square off again in the playoffs.
If that’s the case, Robinson and Brown might get tangled up again, either verbally or physically.
