As per usual, the Golden State Warriors made several moves in the offseason — both minor and major.
Obviously, the Chris Paul trade has been the biggest talking point in Dub Nation for quite a while, and rightfully so, but they might not be done yet.
The latest reports state that former NBA champion Dwight Howard will work out for Steve Kerr’s team, and he could give them plenty of what they lacked last season.
That’s why former NBA player Eddie Johnson stated that, should they sign him, they could have three of the most polarizing defenders in the league next season (via Legion Hoops).
“If the Warriors put Dwight Howard on this team, they got three of the most polarizing defensive players in the NBA on one team.”

Johnson refers to Paul and Draymond Green, both of whom have been on the wrong end of several controversial plays throughout the course of their history.
Howard, Paul, and Green will all go down as pesky and elite defenders, although the first two are no longer in their primes.
But as good as they are, they’ve also been deemed dirty players by rival fanbases multiple times.
Still, and regardless of his age, Howard could be a very impactful addition off the bench for the Warriors.
They did draft Trayce Jackson-Davis, and he could be thrown into the mix to back-up Kevon Looney, but Howard would give them an experienced interior presence, another rim-runner, and a solid rim protector, even if it’s on limited minutes.
He could be a solid insurance policy and mentor while Jackson-Davis walks his first steps into the league, even if he’s not much of a fan favorite.
