Now that the Damian Lillard situation is figured out, all NBA fans are wondering what’s next for James Harden of the Philadelphia 76ers.
Will he be sent to another team, as he has requested?
And will it be the Los Angeles Clippers?
Former NBA champion Brian Scalabrine weighed in on SiriusXM NBA Radio and said that he believes Harden with the Clippers makes a lot of sense.
He said that being a facilitator and traditional point guard is something that Harden can do.
In fact, Scalabrine said he did that just fine when playing for the Brooklyn Nets.
But this deal still might not end up happening.

Scalabrine noted that Harden might not be too comfortable taking a backseat to the other stars on the team in Kawhi Leonard and Paul George.
When those two are fully healthy and performing together, Harden would be considered more of a second-unit player.
That might not sit well with the ten-time All-Star.
But more importantly, the Sixers might not like the players that are being offered by the Clippers.
Even though things have not ended well between Harden and Philadelphia, they still know he is a premium talent.
And they are not going to give him away for just anything and anyone.
If the Clippers had a package that the Sixers liked, they would have offered it by now.
But the fact that this trade still hasn’t happened shows that both sides can’t see eye-to-eye.
Harden in Los Angeles might make a lot of sense but that doesn’t mean it’s going to happen.
