It’s not a secret that Damian Lillard wants to play for the Miami Heat next season.
He’s told the Portland Trail Blazers about his intentions, yet the team has made it clear that they won’t take a penny on the dollar for him.
The Heat have built most of their trade offers around Tyler Herro, yet the Blazers seem to have little-to-no interest in the Kentucky product.
Other teams, however, would be more than willing to give up a “good first-round pick” to land Herro, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.
Needless to say, that report led to plenty of mixed reactions on social media, with fans sharing their thoughts on Herro’s apparent trade value.
Seems fair. He’s a good player.

Now if this doesn’t work I think the problem is the blazer just trying to do Dame Dirty

There’s no denying that Herro has played himself into borderline All-Star consideration, and he’s shown the potential to be one of the most explosive and versatile scorers in the league.
He kind of hit a wall, and his development apparently stalled after an impressive rookie season, but he’s still young and only needs more touches and a different system to break out and thrive.
It’s not surprising to see multiple teams interested in landing a promising scorer with a high upside, even if the price might seem steep to some.
As for the Heat, they will still need to get several teams involved in the Lillard sweepstakes, as the Blazers don’t want to cave into his demands, even if he’s reportedly letting other teams know that he doesn’t want to play for anybody else next season.
