Kai Jones of the Charlotte Hornets has been very active on social media lately, and he has definitely turned some heads and raised more than a few eyebrows.
The young player has criticized fellow teammates and said he’s better than just about everyone on his Hornets squad.
Late Friday night, Jones was at it again in a series of tweets, via Legion Hoops: this time he tweeted that he’s been perfect all his life and then said he was “bigger than Michael Jackson these days.”

Once again, many people took note of his words.
And, once again, people were puzzled.
Some people are really starting to wonder what’s going on with Jones.
This recent explosion of social media comments is perplexing and somewhat alarming.

More than a few people have suggested that Jones’ recent activity has been caused by substances.
There are numerous fans online demanding that the Hornets give Jones a drug test to see what is causing such a wild stream of consciousness.

But there were some who were somewhat supportive of Jones’ wild statements.

Jones is one of the many young players on the Hornets and the next few years could be pivotal to his career.
But he could create a damaging reputation for himself if he doesn’t reel things in.
It’s one thing to say that you’re like Michael Jackson but it’s another entirely to badmouth teammates.
Jones will need to get a handle on himself if he wants to be well-respected by his peers in the seasons ahead.
