The Los Angeles Lakers had a solid offseason, thanks to general manager Rob Pelinka.
After getting swept by the Denver Nuggets in the 2023 Western Conference Finals, Pelinka was pressured to make moves.
Pelinka didn’t disappoint as he bolstered the team’s roster.
The Lakers are now expected to achieve great things in the 2023-24 season.
The 17-time NBA champions finished as the seventh seed in the West with a 43-39 record last season.
Considering the team still reached the Conference Finals, they overachieved.
However, Rob Pelinka retaining key players from last year’s roster has Lakers fans excited on Twitter.
Pelinka was labeled ‘RobFather’ by Lakers Lead.

Lakers fans are looking forward to the start of the 2023-24 NBA season.
Moreover, they believe the organization has a shot at hanging championship banner No. 18 in the rafters.
Why? The answer is Pelinka’s phenomenal decisions this summer. He extended Anthony Davis and Jarred Vanderbilt’s contracts as well.
Pelinka re-signed Austin Reaves, Rui Hachimura, and D’Angelo Russell, three key players from the team’s roster last season.
In addition, the Lakers GM signed Gabe Vincent, Christian Wood, Cam Reddish, and Jaxson Hayes, among other valuable role players.
Moreover, the Lakers still have LeBron James as the team’s leader.
Despite being 38 years old, James averaged 28.9 points, 8.3 rebounds, and 6.8 assists per game last season.
All things considered, the Lakers arguably have their best roster since the 2020 NBA Championship run in the Bubble.
Lakers Nation can almost smell an NBA Championship heading into 2024.
