Damian Lillard and CJ McCollum may not play on the same NBA team anymore but they are still friends.
And they can still make jokes and laugh with one another.
A fan on Twitter posted a throwback picture of sitcom stars Alfonso Ribeiro and Jaleel White, seemingly at an All-Star Game in the 1990s.

“I’ma tell my kids this is Dame Lillard and CJ McCollum,” the fan said on Twitter.
Lillard retweeted the image with a group of laughing emojis.
McCollum followed after Lillard with his own reply: “Sick sick tell.”

It is good to see Lillard and McCollum still joking around, years after they went their separate ways in the league.
But it’s also not that surprising.
Since McCollum departed the Portland Trail Blazers in 2022, Lillard and McCollum have still interacted a lot on social media and praised one another.
They definitely didn’t leave things on bad terms.
In fact, some people believe that Lillard was supremely hurt when the Blazers lost McCollum.
Some have even suggested that the loss of McCollum played into his desire to leave Portland.
The pair played together for more than eight years and built a very strong bond during that time.
They also reached the playoffs multiple times too, but they continually came up short of their goals.
That ultimately led to the Blazers making the choice to send McCollum away.
He has been doing very well with the New Orleans Pelicans since then, averaging 21.4 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 5.4 assists a game.
As for Lillard, he’s still been the standout star of the Blazers.
Their days of playing together are over but McCollum and Lillard are still clearly super close pals.
