Bronny James, son of NBA legend LeBron James, is one of the most exciting young basketball players in the country.
Currently signed to USC, the NBA prospect is about to embark on his first year in college and could soon be in the league.
However, all of that may be on pause.
That’s because James suffered a terrifying medical emergency the other day.
Shams Charania is reporting that James collapsed on the court Monday and had a cardiac arrest.
He was then taken to the local hospital and is now in stable condition and no longer in the ICU.
James’ family has asked for respect and privacy at this time and sent thanks to the medical staff who saved their son’s life.

James is thought of as one of the more promising draft picks for next year.
Although he isn’t considered a top-five player for next year’s draft, he is certainly thought of as a first-round recruit.
As for his father, he has publicly stated his desire to play alongside his son before he retires.
However, all of that understandably takes a back seat to James’ health issue.
No other information has been given about the cardiac arrest but it’s clearly a very serious issue that could lead to him taking time away from the game, perhaps indefinitely.
James is just 18 years old and has shown signs of following in his father’s footsteps for years.
The young man has received immense attention from the media, including recently when he decided which college to sign with.
In the end, he chose to stay close to his family in Los Angeles and signed a couple of big endorsement deals too.
All eyes are on James to see what he does during his time at USC.
Of course, now everyone is just wishing for a speedy and full recovery.
