The Philadelphia Phillies made a memorable run to the World Series last season.
But they were not satisfied just to make the Fall Classic.
They expected to win the whole thing but came up two games short.
So the Phillies went into the offseason looking to improve their roster in hopes to get back to the World Series.
The big name they added this offseason was shortstop Trea Turner.
He commanded a major 11-year contract but his track record says he is worth it.
Yet, Turner struggled to start the year with his new team.
He batted .208 in May and was not getting on base much.
But in June he batted .279 and is hoping to keep raising his average in July.
Turner is even starting to hit the ball for more power, as you can see from his recent moonshot on Wednesday.

The Phillies need the best of Turner if they hope to make another run back to the World Series.
At his best, he is a multi-faceted player that can hit for average, power, and steal a bunch of bases.
With Turner returning to his All-Star form the Phillies need the same from Bryce Harper.
The two-time MVP has struggled in the power department this year.
In 53 games this season, he has only hit three home runs.
Yet still carries an OPS of .806.
If the Phillies get Turner and Harper back to the peak of their abilities this team can go deep in the postseason.
