The Philadelphia Phillies want to play as many playoff games at home as possible.
Even though they did not win their division, they still get to host the Wild Card round at Citizens Bank Park.
According to Matt Gelb, the Phillies clinched a playoff berth and the top seed in the Wild Card on Tuesday.
So, while the Phillies were partying, the Cubs lost. Phillies have clinched the No. 4 seed. Game 1 of the Wild Card Series is Oct. 3 at Citizens Bank Park. Hangover lineup tomorrow night.

That means starting on October 3 they will host the second Wild Card team in a three-game series.
The two most likely opponents for the Phillies are the Arizona Diamondbacks and Chicago Cubs.
Even though every team wants to win the division, getting into the playoffs is the more important thing.
Once you get in, anything can happen.
The Phillies showed that last year after going from the last playoff spot to the World Series.
When the playoffs come around, you can throw out the records.
Both the top seeds in the NL last year lost in the NLDS.
Whichever team is playing the best at that time will win.
Most people look at the National League and say that it goes through the Atlanta Braves.
That may be true but the Phillies also have plenty of experience against the Braves.
Last season, the Phillies beat Atlanta in the NLDS in four games (3-1).
You can bet they will not lack confidence if they have to face off with Atlanta again.
The MLB playoffs are one of the best times on the sports calendar because anything can happen.
The National League playoffs will be highly competitive and people should be careful not to count out the Phillies.
