The Miami Marlins have proven to be one of the best stories in all of baseball this season.
After missing the postseason in 2022, they plucked Skip Schumaker away from the St. Louis Cardinals and tapped him to manage their squad.
Their starting pitching has been quite good this season, and Luis Arraez is hitting at an impressive clip.
On Wednesday, they found a unique way to win.
After squandering two late leads against the Cardinals, Miami found themselves down to their final two outs.
But with two runners on base, Joey Wendle hit a tapper back to Jordan Hicks, who air-mailed Paul Goldschmidt at first base with his throw and allowed both runners to score, giving Miami a unique walk-off win.
On Twitter, Bally Sports Florida tweeted a video of the moment.

The Marlins simply continue to find ways to win games.
They have proven to be one of the best stories in all of baseball this season.
The team was not expected to have much success this year, but they have proven their doubters wrong and appear to be a prime contender for the postseason.
Sometimes, a little luck is all that is needed.
The Marlins got a little bit of that last night, but they have still found ways to defy the odds and prove to the rest of the baseball world that they are here to stay.
The future is certainly bright in Miami, and after a comeback like Wednesday’s, they are set up for even more success in the second half of the season.
